Shannon Scott works with leaders navigating growth, organizational change, and workforce complexity. Her coaching focuses on helping executives think clearly about leadership decisions, people strategy, and the operational realities of scaling organizations.
She brings more than 20 years of experience across Fortune 500 and high-growth companies, leading enterprise people strategy, labor relations, and organizational design for large and complex workforces. Shannon has supported organizations ranging from early-stage start-ups to a Class I railroad with more than 20,000 employees and unionized operations across North America.
Her perspective is shaped by time spent operating inside demanding environments where leadership decisions carry operational, legal, and cultural consequences. Shannon approaches leadership challenges with disciplined thinking, practical judgment, and a focus on aligning people strategy with real business outcomes.
In addition to her executive leadership experience, she holds a Juris Doctor and MBA and is a licensed attorney and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Her work has included advising CEOs and executive teams, family businesses and independent start-ups.
On a Personal Note
Shannon is a native Floridian and currently resides in Northeast Florida. She has spent much of her career working in operational industries such as rail transportation and utility infrastructure as a female navigating predominantly male environments. Shannon wears many hats as Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Friend.
